Our little man, Luke, turned 5 this month. Luke is our little hero who loves to come in and save the day. One of my favorite memories from this past year with Luke is from a day when just he and I went to the swimming pool together. For over an hour he pretended to be a superhero coming to save his princess. One time he would be Batman, the next, Superman, next Spiderman, and on and on. How I cherished the hero's heart developing in my little man. I also loved being the princess and bestowing all of those kisses on my hero's cheek!No matter which hero Luke is pretending to be, he usually rescues us all with his loving smile and his joyful laugh. No one can resist joining in!
